Goose/Duck Hunters

A question for all your big bird hunters.  What piece of equipment do you buy annually, beside shells and new weapon?  The reason for thies question is simple I primarly hunt big game and I sell Hunting equipment and I'm looking to include in my inventory items for bird hunters.

ALong the lines of birdchasers idea, you could modify pick up truck tool boxes for hunters/fishermen. I modified a UWS tool box in the back of my 05 chevy p/u where i keep my shotguns, ammo, cloths and blind bags. I put lights in there so i dont need a flash light fumblin around in the dark. In NY out of sight, out of mind for theves. Plus its got the built in lock for security! Works for deer, ducks and upland! A bunch of hunters saw mine and went wild for it. can be personalized for different peoples needs. Hope that helps.

Decoys, decoys decoys...and some times some decoys. My wife calls them my room mates b/c the take up most of my shed and if i buy any more ill be livin in there with them!!!!!!!!! Calls and lanyards are a topper to, tho once we find our sweet call we just tune them up (Maybe corks and reeds should be on your shelf) Check your local laws tho, i herd that out west the banned mechanicals and are only aloud to use a jerk line (String and bungee cords).  Deek bags always blow out. i buy at least two a season. Hope this helps

LaRu,

You could make gun boxes for the beds of trucks that have a camper shell. Basically the box would hold 3 to 4 guns, ammo drawer, another drawer for Water bowls, vest, first aid kit, other misc, and a built in key lock for transportation(so no one cuts your lock and steals your stuff). The box could be the size of the bottom of the truck bed between the finder. You could also incorporate a 2 hold dog box on top to house the dogs to the field. It would need to be waterproof,a two man lift, and strong.
This would work for upland game and waterfowl hunters.
