Rocky Mountain Dream Foundation
We are a licensed non-profit foundation dedicated to helping those with disabilities and life threatening illnesses get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
Our goal is to provide these opportunities at little or no cost to the client and their families. We do this through corporate and private sponsorships/donations.

Rocky Mountain Dream Foundation
Admission Criteria:
Generally speaking Rocky Mountain Dream Foundation is looking for clients that are Terminally Ill or Disabled, and have a financial need.
Available opportunities will be granted first to;
- Qualified applicants living in Utah.
- Qualified applicants that are deemed to be Terminally Ill. ( See addendum TI-1 )
- Qualified applicants that are deemed to be Disabled ( See “A Disability Is”)
- Qualified applicants that have severe financial needs. ( See addendum FN-1 )
Additional opportunities will be granted secondly to;
- Qualified applicants living out side of Utah.
- Qualified applicants that have moderate financial abilities. ( See addendum FN-2 )
- Qualified applicants that are disabled or Terminally Ill, but have the financial means available to donate to Rocky Mountain Dream Foundation. .( See addendum FN-3 )
{Addendum TI-1}
Rocky Mountain Dream Foundation believes that a Terminally Ill applicant will have these certain diagnostic characteristics;
- Applicant’s life expectancy should be given by a qualified Physician, and that applicant’s expected life span would be no longer then two years from date of application.
A Disability Is:
- A person that has lost motor function, muscular impairment, visual impairment, audio impairment, and or nervous system impairment, in at least one complete extremity.
- A Person that may have an amputated extremity.
{We do not provide services to anyone that is actively psychotic, or grossly cognitively impaired.}
These applicants may be reviewed on case by case bases at the recommendation of the applicants Physician and or Psychiatrist.
Financial Needs Addendum:
- FN-1-Applicants that have severe financial needs would have a total house hold income of less then $30.000 annually. ( Documentation may be required)
- FN-2-Applicants would be considered to have moderate financial needs if their annual hose hold income is less then 50.000. ( Documentation may be required)
- FN-3-Applicant’s considered to have financial means may be asked to make a contribution to Rocky Mountain Dream Foundation’s general fund before they would be considered eligible. (Contributions will be determined on a case by case basses. A contribution will not guarantee that an applicant will be granted a wish.)
