Getting girlfriend interested in hunting.

 I am trying to get my girlfriend interested in hunting. I took her to the stand with me a couple of times this season, which she really seemed to enjoy. She even handled me shooting a skunk just fine, but I don't know how she will handle deer or turkey. I have been trying to teach her to shoot a bow, so that even if hunting isn't her thing we can still target shoot together, and plan to teach her how to handle a rifle. I hope to let her shoot something when we go to Africa this summer but I don't want to force this upon her. Do any of you, especially the ladies, have any more ideas of how to bring her into this sport?

I STARTED MY WIFE SHOOTING 22 WHEN WE FIRST MET.THE MOVED UP FROM THERE.SHE LOVE BIRD HUTING.I DON'T KNOW IF SHE WOULD SHOT A DEER.BUT WITH THE KIDS SHE SAYS SHE WANTS TO GO OUT WHEN THERE OLDER.GOOD LUCK. DON'T PUSHER.O AND WATCH OUT LADIES ARE USUALLY GOOD SHOTS.SO DON'T BE SURPRISED IF SHE PICKS IT UP REAL FAST.

TAKE YOUR TIME WITH HER IF YOU RUSH HER SHE MAY LOSE INTERIST IN IT ALL TOGTHER. MY WIFE WAS THE SAME WAY AT FIRST AND NOW I CAN'T KEEP HER OUT OF THE WOODS. BOW , GUN IT DON'T MATTER GOOD LUCK
