Dark deer

I don't know why but the deer ive seen hunting this year are so dark that there almost black.I saw two doe this afternoon hunting that was grayish black.I have never seen deer that color before.I stoped by J&K Sporting where they where taging a big buck ,and it was grayish black to.Everyone was talking about the color.No one knows why???

Last year the deer here in Va. was grayish black aswell,but this year they are normal gray color.Last year we had a real bad dry year but this year its not been as bad
