Well I have been researching and working hard on my upcoming adventure for this coming years hunting club. I am starting out with 360 acres in Fulton County Pennsylvania and we are starting to put in some food plots this spring. The farm already has some different grass heys witch is good for deer nutrition but we are planting an assortment of clovers for protien for the growing deer. We will also soon have a campsite built right on the property this summer and I am getting more and more excited everyday as I see it come together. I am looking at the big picture for about 3 to 5 years from now with proper management and possable expansion we could realy being seeing some nice bodied deer with the right food sources in place and the proper care.
Planning on working all summer long on getting things set up for the following year. Getting stands set up around the area so that they will be there when needed.
One thing about this property is that is has been under lease for over 10yrs already and already somewhat managed by a previous group of hunters, so alot of the preperation and proper care has already been started. Realy looking forward to a great year and hope everyone has a good upcoming one also.
