Tammy and I headed to the blind yesterday evening. When we got there we turned on the "hog light" that was on the feeder. We waited for a nice deer to come in before dark, but that didn't happen. We continued to sit after dark to see if the pigs would come in. Nothing was coming in so around 7:00 we got out of the blind.

The things that interest me the most are what happens outdoors,hunting, fishing and trapping things of that nature.I have been trapping hogs most of my life and really enjoy it, we do it when the months are cool unless its for nuisance animals then we do it year round.Deer hunting with my bow is one of my greatest passions following shortly behind that would be waterfowl.I find it very relaxing to be able to sit in a tree stand or a duck blind wating to see whats going to happen next.My family i...  Took off last friday for a bear/deer hunt up north.. Dry as a bone and as you can imagine the dust was horrid. Took the ranger, and one other quad.  hunted all day and barely saw any sign. The brush is real thick and almost impossible to see into..  Some open areas offer a better chance when the sun starts. Saw one black bear out around 1500 yards across the mountain. Bit too long for a good shot LOL.. Only saw 10 deer the whole trip. It was nice and cool but ... Read More
