Howdy y'all. Well Thanksgiving has come and gone and I enjoyed 4 days off. The only bad part was that it wasn't long enough. I didn't hunt Thurs. because of family stuff so my father-in-law and I went Fri. We set up in our usual spot Fri. morning and no one else was there. It was quiet and not as cold as the previous weekend. Howdy y'all. Well, time to catch up. Opening weekend for rifle season was Nov. 22-23. I was in the woods early Sat. morning and set up and ready to go. Hunting Season for Deer & Turkey.For me,this is a great time of year,because I'm able too get up early and go out into the woods and then,at sunrise things start too come alive!Then again,I could go in the woods at Eve.time,and stay till I can barly see the pins on my bow!Let's not forget that time between 11am & 2pm.Too be honest with ya,If I wanna see deer,most of the time I have too be out in the eve.Chances are,If I wanna see turkey,I should be out there in the morning. Howdy y'all. Well to catch up on my hunting. Thurs. the 6th, I went to my dad's place after work and set up out in the back field. There are several deer coming in to feed on acorns and they are bedding down in the field. I have seen them many times and dad has been helping me to pattern them.
