September 13th, 2008 was the opener for the NJ bow season. As usual I spent the prior six weeks hanging stands, running mineral and supplement, setting cameras anticipating the start of the season. DAY ONE And so it began, 2007 Turkey Season. My brother had stayed the night, bunking on an old futon bed in the 'Cave' in the basement. had slept on the couch, so the alarm would not wake the wife or kids. t was 3:30a before I knew it.
