This is video taken in SW Colorado.  This was my frist archery elk hunt and I had never been to this area.  It wasn't until the last two and half days that I got into an area that showed good potential.  Finding a good area to hunt here was my main goal so I'm not really disappointed that I didn't get an elk.  Because of the amount of good sign I found the last days I feel the trip was a success even though I didn't get or even see an elk.

Well we made it home Tuesday after driving straight through... I am STILL beat LOL... We had a great time, thought it was tough hunting... We got there it was warm and sunny, dry dirt. We had 9 in our group this year. We ended up taking the ranger (complete with heater) and the 700 and 800. Uncle borrowed our 500.
