Hey fellow blog lovers:     My 12 year old baby girl just put the smackdown on a monster Wyoming mule deer buck. We were actually after a different buck we have been watching. This guy just showed up and he is even bigger than the one we were after. He is a brute. best guess is if there is such a thing as a 300 pound mule deer in eastern Wyoming then this one is it. Well it is mid september and the nights keep getting a little bit colder and the days get a wee bit shorter.  The deer are out of their velvet now and the does/fawns are feeding hard mostly in the evening.  The bucks are starting to break out of their bachelor groups and now is the time to get ready for the early season.  I am waiting for that first frost to kick things into high gear when bucks start thier rub lines and i can try my new scope out on my 300WSM, i had to buy a barg...
