My first attempt at cleaning a skull with Dermestid
beetles is coming out great. I can not believe how fast these little suckers work. In a weeks time they have consumed a great deal of the meat on this deer skull, and the skin looks as if it would just pull off the skull with a slight tug, but I'm going to leave it alone for a while and see if the
beetles will consume the hair and skin.
