I hunt a river bottom in SW WI, near the Kickapoo River. I have always seen deer in the bottom but after the massive flooding, the area changed alot, and I haven't seen near enough deer for the sign that's in there. 3 cougars are being sited in Kerkwood,PA  Game commision denies it wants again. On 10/9/08 Amish man see cougar in his CRP field,he runs & gets his gun & shoots the cougar, cougar runs off & he starts tracking while tracking another cougar jumps out & attacks him, Knocks him & his gun down,he manages to pull his knife out & fights back,cougar eventually takes off, man crawls to neighbor for help & collapses in yard.
