ABOUT ME
Host and Producer of Anchor Outdoors. We had been on the air for 6 years in Arkansas, SE Missouri, and Memphis. Christian based Outdoor show. Last show aired 1/26/08 looking to start something new now.
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
Wow I wish I could have got one to gobble like that down there. Me and Little man came to Ouachita. It was the worst year ever. No one even worked a turkey but tell your dad not to feal bad my gun misfired at 10 to 15 steps and little man could not see over a fallen pine to get the shot.
Ouch, that hurts. It was way too funny, dad was shaking like a leaf when the bird walked off, he was sitting throught he briars about 10 steps from it but could not see it.
Man and all this time I thought he was cool as a cucumber

What an idea!!! The opportunity for kids to come, learn to hunt with multiple weapons and then take a trophy home. That right there is a great idea and a great place to have it. The ranch is better than any camp I've ever seen.
Great times will be had by all.
Thanks, It should be a fantastic week for all. I think I am looking forward to it more than the kids
Hey we need to see some of your great video footage, make sure you have some footage that a brave camera man shot, not one that would leave you when times get tough!
Vidor Texas huh? I guess you would know where the Neches River is?
I was born in Beaumont, spent my summers growing up between Vidor and Evadale. Grandparents lived right on the river down there.
Nice to meet ya.
I'm not orgionally from here but have lived here for 7 years, I usually select my duty stations based upon hunting. It's not bad here, i'm orgionally from Austin Tx area. Lived out of state for 17 years in Indiana, Wisconsin, Kentucey and a few other places. Getting ready to relocate to Alaska in the next two years for a few years, then back to Texas for retirement in West Texas.
I just put a blog on my site telling you about the new kids hunting camp we are doing June 14th that you so graciously volunteered for Let me know what you think
