Your heart is still beating a million miles an hour and your brain is swimming with emotions, upset that it wasn't "the one" and in a weird way, relief that you wouldn't have to take that shot you've been practicing for months on the foam block in your back yard. Now your heart rate begins to slow down as you enjoy being in the presence of this beautiful animal.


You study her every move as she nervously crosses in front of you, gazing back from where she had just come. But what is she looking at? You cut your eyes back. Your heart begins to beat so hard and fast that it's as if someone is playing a million bass drums in your ears and everything goes dark in your peripheral from tunnel vision. It's him! What's In A Name?

When we set out to create the best waterfowl hunting clothes on the market nearly four years ago, we knew immediately that a standard warm coat wouldn't be near enough to impress the hard-core hunters that spend day after day in the field. We needed something to meet every condition a hunter can face... we needed a "SYSTEM". This was the beginning of Drake Waterfowl Systems.

With hunting season ranging anywhere from 60 degrees to minus 10 degrees, it is all too easy to over-dress or under-dress. Over-dressing not only leads to over-heating, it also hinders mobility, which can become very aggravating when trying to make an overhead shot or simply walking to the blind. Under-dressing can be even more punishing. If any hunter has ever made an early morning boat ride in freezing temps without a windproof coat, they know exactly what miserable is. With all the different changes in the weather, there is another factor all other companies seem to overlook and that is YOU. Are you an inactive, active, or hyperactive hunter? Some people are "hot-natured" while some are "cold-natured".

MST was designed for the hard-core duck hunter that doesn't like getting weighted down with a bulky coat. To reduce the bulk, we use fleece as the ultimate mid-season insulator. LST is all about staying warm. With 200 gram poly-insulation covered in 100% windproof/ waterproof/ breathable micro-fleece, LST was designed to brave the harshest weather a duck hunter can face. From fleece lined handwarmer pockets in our new insulated bibs, to adjustable neoprene cuffs on our 4 in 1, LST will not leave you out in the cold.
