My name is Kevin I live in Muskego Wisconsin. I live to hunt, fish and be outdoors. I have been married for six years and have two beautiful daughters who are starting to follow in my footsteps. I hunt everything I can gun and bow from deer to pheasants and waterfowl. I now have a pointer pup that is in training and with a little luck will become the hunting dog of my dreams. Any questions just ask.

Hey chris do you do any hunting in the racine area?(duck/goose, deer, pheasant)
I pheasant hunt around this area.
where do you pheasant hunt?....Bong?
Bong,Vernon,Tichigan,Whitewater and some private lands out in Walworth counties when I get a chance. Been doing more grouse hunting over the the last few years up north then anything else when it comes to birds.
Hey bud how was your weekend? Any birds? Did you get out to Vernon? Just stopping to say hi and give you an update. I had the pup out saturday and sunday. saturday I got her started on the e-collar with no problems, I have it just in case I don't have to use it much. On sunday I used the starter pistol for the first time and it didn't phase her. Overall she pointed about twenty times and every time it was a bird(that I planted of course), sunday she worked her best yet. I cant wait to work her again. Talk to you soon Kevin
Awesome! Please remember that the e collar is only a tool. The pup needs to be 90% good with all his/her commands before you use the collar to reinforce the command. Did you do any collar conditioning? Teaching the pup what he pressure is for?
Nope, I didn't get out to Vernon. Got involved with some projects around the house.
hows it going, any birds down? where you going hunting for gun deer?
Hey, bud!
It's been a good week off work.
Hunted @ Wild Wings Last Sat.and Yesterday. Best day was yesterday. I hunted with a friend, Tim, his two Vizslas, and my lab, Skeeter. We paid for 10 birds, flushed 18 and came out with 13 birds. 12 pheasants and 1 chukar. The 3 dogs worked like a finely tuned team....some of the best dog work I've ever seen. If Skeeter's up to it, and my knees warm up a bit, I think we'll head out to Vernon Marsh around 1030. Then on Saturday, down to the Trevor area for greenheads.
How's that pup of yours doing?

Take care, good hunting
sorry about that blank comment, hopefully your on private property up there because when i used to hunt the northern part of the state it was like a zoo of people and I never saw any deer. Now I hunt in Viola on the edge of Vernon and Richland County. Lucked out and we get to hunt 125 acres of deer heaven.
yea we hunt out on a friends farm. at night shining you'll see an average of 40 deer per field. there's been plenty of monsters taken outta richland county too thats another area i wanna try but that'd prolly be public huntin.
