My dad and mom...My dad taught me everything he knows about being in the woods. He also helped me a lot in shooting competitions. Thanks to him I'm not one of those hunters that goes 100 yards off the trail for an hour...I go miles in to the woods before sun up and come in after the sun goes down. My mom too, because she even shoots trap when I had no one else to shoot with.

Good Morning! So, how do you see the picture below? Is it a beautiful Morning Glory Flower or nasty wild intrusive vine/weed? To me the name of the plant has a lot to do with how it should be looked at but my wife just thinks they’re a pain in the butt! LOL!!!
I'm doing good! Busy at work this week but starting to seriously think about hunting season!
Our nuisance Canada Goose season opens for the 1st 15 days of September & then Deer Archery opens September 29th same as yours but it's wide open Archery including our 1 buck limit, doe control tags and regular doe tags. During the earlier part of Archery season pre-gun season, the entire state is open to 4 extra doe control tags that we can buy/fill for a reduced price of $15 per doe. Once Gun season opens, doe tags are $24 each, the same price as the buck tag. I'm just excited for this season because I know there's several mature, big racked bucks on the farm I hunt that didn't get harvested last year & I learned about a new travel corridor that one of the bucks was using last year to stay out of sight! I already have a few trees for my climbing stand picked out!
