Title: Ga. State Duck Calling Contest
Description: The Georgia State Duck Calling Contest will take place Friday, Aug. 8 during the Outdoor Blast, and the event will crown the state champion duck caller. This is the sanctioned duck-calling contest that will send the winner to Stuttgart, Ark. for the World’s Duck Calling Championship in November.
In addition, the evening will feature the Georgia State Meat Calling Contest, which will test callers on their ability to blow calls that produce results in actual hunting conditions. Ringing hail calls are not allowed during the Meat calling contest.
The entry fee for the Georgia State Duck Calling Contest is $40, while the Meat Duck Calling Contest is $25. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners.
The Georgia State qualifier is open only to Georgia residents, while the Meat contest is open to anyone.
