Blog Entry: Friends of Kansas Racks & Quacks, I hope this finds everyone having a wonderful summer and getting ready for next hunting season. The crew here at Kansas Racks & Quacks are hard at work getting little projects finished and have already began scouting. The wheat harvest is in full swing and the farmers have been seeing a lot of pheasants which is a great sign for the upcoming hunting season. The bucks have started to grow their head gear and we are very excited to see what they develop into. We have a few trail cams already out and will be putting the rest out in the near future. The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks have begun to post the results from the drawings for tags. If you are not aware there will be no transferable tags this year in Kansas and you must have applied by June 2, 2008 to get a tag for this upcoming season. If you ever need a place to hunt whitetails, ducks, geese, upland or Rio turkeys feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail. On our website it says we only offer upland and waterfowl to hunters already in deer camp, but if you would like a custom hunt that does not include deer hunting just let me know and we can make it happen.
