I will agree with you there bud. I too have not seen a rut yet. I have seen scrapes up the @$$ but i have not seen one buck chasing a doe. Not one! I hunting the entire 9 day gun season and only seen 3 deer on opening day. Worst gun season I can ever remember! What is up with this guy?? I am hoping maybe the luck changes for muzzleloader or late season bow!!!
yeah that does dude thanks alot.. today totally i saw my first good eight i think he was the same 8 that was with the 12 that i saw... i wasnt able find a shot ... grr he was about 130 or 135 or so... i would have taken him but he will be alot bigger next year.

oh man i have been seeing so many out of the stand my cams yeah for that part i have been lacking ive for the most part just been scouting by goin on checking fields and sittin.. and im goin out in the mornin i saw a really wide massive 8 or ten this mornin he wasnt tall just wide and a crap tone of mass u know like a web lookin set or antlers.. .wat about u ?

Heading to SE Ill. with a semi guided outfitter we have been going ther for the 3rd yr. Looking for a lease in the Midwest, done with the one week hunts after this year, havn't got a shot at the buck I really wanted to take yet. Hope this is my year. We've shot some nice 140 and seen a couple bigger. Hunted Ky for the opener with no shooters shot...nice bucks in the area though.
Nice Bucks on trail cams...do you have a pic of the shooter you saw? Send some cool weather down south...it would be nice to see some deer. Got one doe with the ole stick and string this year and heading to Ill. in Nov. can't wait....may go after some big fish this weekend and give the woods a rest.
