TexasHuntress Wishing gas prices would drop!

My name is Melinda. As you can probably guess, I am originally from east Texas. I moved to Alabama in October of 2006 to be able to spend more time with my partner of choice in all things.

I spend a great deal of time on www.aldeer.com, www.castnshoot.com and www.usdeer.com (where I am a moderator). Ya'll stop on by either or both of those sites and say hi! We'd love to have you! The latter site is still in its fledgling state and really needs more traffic.

I'm also a member on www.texashuntingforum.com, www.archerytalk.com and www.alabamabowhunters.com.

I go by the same screen name on all the above.

I enjoy hunting, fishing, geocaching and just about anything else with my "forever man," DEADorALIVE.

Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.

Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)

Have fun and send post up some good pics.
