My name is Melinda. As you can probably guess, I am originally from east Texas. I moved to Alabama in October of 2006 to be able to spend more time with my partner of choice in all things.
I spend a great deal of time on www.aldeer.com, www.castnshoot.com and www.usdeer.com (where I am a moderator). Ya'll stop on by either or both of those sites and say hi! We'd love to have you! The latter site is still in its fledgling state and really needs more traffic.
I'm also a member on www.texashuntingforum.com, www.archerytalk.com and www.alabamabowhunters.com.
I go by the same screen name on all the above.
I enjoy hunting, fishing, geocaching and just about anything else with my "forever man," DEADorALIVE.
Just dropping by to say "hi" and that I hope that you are having a nice summer.
Thanks for being a "Women Deer Hunter" group member. We are up to 104 members and growing! Be sure to drop by often to participate in the forum or to add your own forum subject.
Thanks for the add! When you get a chance, you might want to go to my profile and check out my America's Frugal Sportsman blogs. I show folks how to save some money on stuff. While you are there, please sign my guestbook map
Be sure to check the Woman Deer Hunters group forum. The newest topic is "Tell us how you got interested in hunting". We would love to have your input on that topic or any of the other forum topics. If you don't like the topics that are there, feel free to start one of your own. Show us photo's of your hunt in the group gallery. Let's make this a fun, active place to get together to chat!
Thanks for joining the Woman Deer Hunter's group. We look forward to your participation in the forums and hope that you will add your favorite deer hunting photo's to the group gallery.
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
