Good luck on your hunt. Yep you either love it or hate it here. I am totally excited the shoot my bow. This is my first bow hunting season. I practice just about everyday. But ihavent seen a lot of buck activity yet, hope your luck is better!
Well got back from running the baits and good news... All of our baits were shredded to pieces. Pretty good considering everyone else we talked to didn't get any action due to excessive rain throughout the week. No pictures or sign of any sows with cubs either!
Let ya know on sunday, but we got some good baits out. We got hit pretty hard by rain this week so I'm not expecting too much but they should all be hit anyway.
Didn't do any tracking or attracting this weekend. But I was out there yesterday and set up some of the sites and built the cribs. Lots of tracks by some of the baits though... Bear, timberwolf, and bobcats. I measured one front pad track at 5 1/2 inches across, Thats a nice bear!
