ABOUT ME
I am an elementary teacher and I love to hunt!!!
Been married for 22 years. Three kids; a daughter that loves to hunt; one son that likes the hunt camp, but not the killing; and the youngest boy is also a hunter by nature. I would like to go to Alaska - survivor style!

Man, we would love to be able to catch Walleye around here. We have maybe caught 2 in Indiana, it was never on purpose. I think one was while crappie fishing and the other was using live bait for bass. We have never had any luck at Brookeville.

I was asking to see what time you head out to hunt and if you stay out all day or come in and head back out later? In the spring, I am in my place wat before sun rise. I have stayed all day and have left and come back. I am just trying to better my odds at getting my first fall bird.

When you hunt turkeys in the fall, what does your day look like?
How have you been, Hope everything is going great!! What do you mean by day looks like???
The best time to find them this time of the year is while they are on the roost, they will be more vocal at that time than any other, the best trick to use is get right in the middle oof the hottest sign and wait them out, calling every once in a while, with clucks, purrs and yelps, if they get to answering you but won't come try some aggresive purrs, (fighting) before you move. Good luck
Busy busy at work. Yes still there just in Greenwood now. I took the boy over the weekend for a youth hunt no good though a littl warm yet. Yeah I am off in the middle of October for some Dad time to hopefully kil a few does. Hope all is well with ya good luck in the next few weks if you get time to hunt.
I have not tried the shells yet. I have not been to the farm for quite some time. I might go down this weekend. Perhaps I will get the chance to pop a squirrel. I want to keep most for bird hunting this year as well as having my kids try the slugs as well.
that is great about your son! I am sure that you will make some great memories!
