TMHUNTER Hey its time to go hunten

My wife and I live in Grant County Oregon. We own a little meat shop and are kept busy during hunting season usually doing other folks game. But we find time to steel away a moment or two for ourselves and the love of the hunt. Kathy (my wife has written hunting poetry, hense a CD called of Elk and Men.
We love the outdoors, our Boxer, Petey, horseback riding and hunting of course! Would love to hear from you.

good I hope.
Well, it's been fun, but frustrating. Our extended archery season goes till mid-december, but I'm having fits trying to get in position on one of these local cow elk. I can find the herd every day, but it's pretty tough to get on them. Half the problem is that I keep bumping deer that run right past the cows, who then then get kind of nervous, and by the time I show up the damn bedroom is empty!
take care,
Mike
