I hunt Elk, deer, turkey and recently got in to hog hunting.
I have been rifle hunting but just bought a bow this year. Been taking it hog hunting but yet to get a hog.

I saw a big ole Boar the other day. He looked like he had some real big cutters on him. Won't mind takein' that bad boy down...

To tell you the truth Steve, I dont know the exact days.....when I get within a month, then I am on the count down....LOL ttabs?? nope must be another nut ....LOL 33 days for you.....wow you must be pumped!!!
LOL!! High Street definitely can have a bunch of beautiful things to look at when school is in session! LOL!!!

Well that's great because we're die hard Buckeye fans to! LOL!!! My son was the 1st string offensive center for the Hilliard Darby high school team this past fall, which was his 8th year of tackle football (6 years of being a center) and right now he's at Darby's summer JV/Varsity Football camp at Ohio Nothern University. I talked to him last night & he told me that there 2 senior Varsity centers and there was only one Junior that tried out for the JV center position and they moved him to gaurd & put Chris in at 1st string JV center/3rd string to the Varsity team. He's pretty pumped right now and said that with the 2 seniors being on their way out after this upcoming season, he's got a good chance of being the 1st string Varsity center for his junior & senior years. Right now he's a 6 foot 185 lb softmore but he's an awesome blocker & he had to block kids that were over 300 lbs this past season. We just gotta work on continuing to bulk him up! I'm almost 6' 3" so I'm hoping he picks up a little extra height yet to and I should add that he carried a cummulative 4.038 grade point for his freshman year of high school. He also was nominated for the Archie Griffin award of Athletic Excellence in the 8th grade and was 2nd to one of his best friends, the team QB that won the award. I'm obviously really proud of him!

Haha Griz - I said that exact same thing last time I went hog hunting - It's too hot I'm gonna hold off till it cools down. The time before that I said it's too grown up I'm gonna wait till fall. I didn't wait. Now that I got the trap though I'm just gonna set it out and go play in the lake all day, maybe hunt a little in the early morning and late evening. Thinking about getting some snake boots before I go back out too. Last time I was out I didn't see any hogs but walked right by a big ole rattler. Hey Griz How'd the hog hunting go? I was on vacation in TN at my parents over the 4th and my dad had built me a hog trap. Brought it home and looking forward to getting some use out of it!

Well Steve I'll tell ya. Them boogers are something else that's for sure. I have taken my bow out a few times hoping to take one with it. Well...No Dice. Seemed like every time I would stock up to them close enough for a shot they would move out of range on me...LOL...
But I still had fun tryin'...
It's really way to hot right now. So I think I'm going to hold off until fall when it gets cooler and try again...
Seen close to 80 hogs all together...
I have some Corn out for them right now. But there not hitting it until weee hours in the morning...
