Born and raised in East Alabama. I hunt two different tracts of private land, but spend most of my time on our 300 acres of beautiful private riverbottom land. I take care of the place mainly by myself, from cutting and planting fields, to building stands and clearing roads and trails. I'm in engineering school at Auburn and hope to one day make a lot of money so I can take many long vacations each year to go hunting. I love all kinds of huntin', but there's nothing on earth like having a conversation with a big ol' hot mountain chicken on a foggy spring morning. You'll never hear anything like two or three big nasty toms gobbling up and down a hollow. During the offseason when I'm not cutting or planting something, I love to walk out on the rocks in the river to take a swim and fish a little. It's my heaven and it's made me who I am, and I hope to pass it on to my kids one day.
