I took a nice 8pt during our early muzzleloader. been hunting does but everything was small. Our gun season starts Friday and the rut is just kicking in. should be some great hunting.

Our rut is Just kicking in as well, late for west central Florida, Got in the Hogs Deep in the swamps, trying to get away from the ROAD Hunters, but they were shooting everything they saw this weekend, took us HOURS to drag them hogs out, ended p Quatering them, Game warden was T'D off, supposed to leave them whol till you get to the Check Station, 2 miles back, we said screw that, I will pay the fine, He understood, Then busted a flock of henns and Jennys, they were not happy when the shooting stopped, took about an hour to call them back in, ended up with 5 of them, great weekend, have a good one, and will talk to you soon, Good luck with the rut. I have been using James Valley Scents, and they are WORKING well, Both those *'s, have followed my scent trail Straigh to my stand, if your not using it, pick some up, you will not be dissapointed.... I like the Full Draw, and wall hanger, one is an estr5us, and the wall Hanger, I use on scraps, and rubs, REALLY PISSES THEM OFF.........

Thanks for the tip
