I like to listen to metal, rock, classic rock, country, and absolutely no rap, nope not here.

The Lost Hunters,The Doorway Buck by CM Sackett, anything by Louis Lamour(sp)especially The Sackett series and pretty much anything that has to do with the Old West.

Bowhunting, fishing, bowfishing, taxidermy, hoggin and dawgin. Did I mention chasin hogs!

Ultimate fighting, and anything that has to do with Traditional Archery followed by any hunting show except for Turkeys(I would rather hunt for turkey than watch it)

My wife and kids(anyone who can put up with me for 20years is special)Lane Frost, Ishi, and any Native American who still lives the old way.

SouthTexasPighunter Looking for the next hunting fix.

I am a 38 y/o married of 19 years man with three children 2 daughters and one son, I am also a disabled veteran who proudly served in the Marine Corps but am now semi retired thru the Veterans Administration. I take up my time chasing my youngest daughter around(3 y/o) and by doing a lil bit of taxidermy work. I enjoy the outdoors and can be found chasing pigs with stickbow or knife in hand, in addition to hunting for hogs I also enjoy fishing and shooting my recurves, longbows and selfbows at local tournaments with my seven year old son. I am not very good at that, but seem to fair better with cloven hoofed animals that grunt, snort, and make fine table fair. I also enjoy bowfishing for Gator gar and Tilapia and have been known to throw a mean fish fry from time to time.

Real small world Dave my cousin and her husband work and live on the Calahan ranch. LOts of big bucks big hogs and toothy Javalinas. Maybe one day yall can stay with us when yall make it this way again. That is if ya like bowfishin during the summer if ya come during that time. During the winter its all bowhunting though.

Got a nice javalina while i was there. had a life size mount done on it.

Pretty much all i do is bowhunt. There is nothin else like a bow kill!!!

You can say that again I got one carbine that I use for tracking game when I guide hunters other than that my rifles are in da box. Bow hunting is the way ta go.

Thnaks for the friends add Dave. Encinal has alot of big hogs and even bigger Deer, there are quite a few good hunting ranches down that way. Hope your hunt there was a good one. My wife is from North Carolina there outa Topsail Island near Camp Lejeunethats where we met before I went off to the first Gulf War and behold almost 20 years later we are still together. We miss home a bunch the beach tha BBQ and I miss the fishin. Her folks are still there so we get to go back every so often and I hunt Camp Lejeune during deer season when we go. Anyhow I wont keep ya just nice to hear from a Carolinian.
Thanks for the comment. It truly is a small world. We hunted the Calahan Ranch. I love the South West. Beautiful country. Maybe we can hookup sometime when yall are coming to Carolina. Have a good one!
