"The richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration".~ Claude Monet
I'm a mischievous, silly intellectual, Nature worshipping, 'Tomboy' that tries to find the best in everyone and find a positive learning lesson from a negative.
I love the beach but have had enough when the sunburn starts stinging. I love the mountains until the Poison Ivy has me all itchy and scratching doesn't help.
Dress me up, take me to an Art Museum or a Formal or something similar and I won't pick my teeth. I can sit at a coffee house for hours and work the NYT crossword, chat about anything and everything or can just be still and be.
Put me in jeans or shorts, take me to the crawdad hole and I'll bait my own hook ( for the fish) and dig in the mud with my hands for the mudbugs. But I draw the line and cleanin and skinnin.
I'll fuss about a Ref's bad call at football games, an Ump's bad call at a baseball game, enthusiastically cheer for my team and promise not to throw all my peanut shells at other people.
I grew up huntin & fishin, lots of Deer Camp time. I don't hunt now, but love the feel of huntin season. I prefer being outside anytime and shudder at the thoughts of being trapped in a shopping mall . O_O Take me to Bass Pro Shop though, and we may be there a while ;)

It's Mondy and I'm all Wound up - Are you ready for a new week my Friend!!!
The April flower is the daisy. Daisies are associated with innocence. The gerbera daisy has large colorful blooms, which has made it a favorite with flower lovers. There is a legend that a nymph wanting to escape unwanted attention, transformed herself into the daisy. Ever after this the April birth flower has the flower meaning of implicity and modesty. An alternate birth flower for April is the sweet pea.
The Gerbera Daisy is a perennial favorite. This daisy and April birth flower is a wonderful flower to design boquets with as it can be the focal point or an accent. The Gerbera Daisy is actually a perennial herb native to South Africa. The Gerbera Daisy is also known as the African Daisy, Transvaal Daisy, Gerb, and Barberton Daisy. Daffodils form a group of large-flowered members of the genus Narcissus. Most Daffodils look yellow, but yellow-and-white, yellow-and-orange, white-and-orange, pink, and lime-green cultivars also exist. Daffodils grow perennially from bulbs. In temperate climates they flower among the earliest blooms in spring: to this extent Daffodils both represent and herald spring. They often grow in large clusters, covering lawns and even entire hillsides with yellow.

What is delicate, durable, and delightful all in one? The carnation, scientifically known as Dianthus caryophyllus, is a historically rich and meaningful flower choice. With its scientific name dianthus roughly translating to "flower of love" or "flower of the gods", depending on the source, this flower is one that has been revered for centuries. One of the world's oldest cultivated flowers, the carnation is appreciated for its ruffled appearance, clove-like scent, and extended blooming period.
