Hey my name is Darren and I'm from Saskatchewan, Canada and have a true passion for hunting and fishing but that is out weighed by my passion for God. I love to express this passion through music either by playing guitar or singing.

sweet pics! wow that sounds intense haha

lol. it is. it gets your adrenilan goin. cuz the second your dogs start barkin and runnin, you HAVE to go. cuz around here 50% of the bear dont climb trees. theyl sit on the ground and fight your dogs, and if your dogs arent quick enough, theyl get killed. you have to go and you have to go fast. its riskey, but worth it when u get one killed

no way! have you ever had a dog killed? I would be so mad if one killed my dog haha

ive not, but ive hunted with ppl who has dogs killed. mine are just quick, and when a bear swipes at them, instead of charging forward, they jump back. lol.

Good luck bear hunting. I was lucky enough to get my first bear in spring with my bow. So I was pretty stoked :) Hope you get to get excited too haha

thanks! got one. got some dogs cut down pretty bad, but we got one. 322lbs! struck at 7:45 and didnt get it killed till 3, but we got it! had 5 of my plotts and a walker, then some boys who were around there threw some of their hounds in on it too and we finally got it to climb. after six hours. lol

haha oh wow, thats awesome, congrats! you sure hunt bear a lot different down there. most people here just do the bait and wait technique. thats how i got mine. you will have to throw some pics up. again, rite on congrats ;)

baiting around here is illegal, and stand hunting you wont have any luck. you gotta have dogs to smell them and run to them and make them stand still and fight or climb a tree so u have a chance to shoot. i uploaded 4 from the hunt.
