I live in southwest Michigan, grew up about 20 miles from my current home. I am married and have 3 teenagers. I stay busy with their sports and school activities, and try to get out hunting and fishing with them as much as possible.
I attended the University of Michigan, and have a Mechanical Engineering degree. My current job role is as a Lean Manufacturing Leader.
How has your turkey season gone? I hope to get out again this weekend. Missed a tom with my bow last week. The arrow clipped the opening on the blind.[/quote]
I haven't been able to go out at all yet. I hope to go out this weekend, but I don't think I will be able to . Sorry to hear about the tom. You are a brave person for hunting with your bow. My husband does that......no thank you lol. Have a blessed day and good luck next time you are out hunting.
Yeah you gotta get the secret password to work. lol
I am not a crossbow person, but it's got some good people.
Yeah I guess my blonde brain couldnt figure it out!
Everybody seems sooo nice! Im looking forward to chatting with everyone! Hope your night is going well
Since my trips there are usually by plane, my shopping is limited to what I can carry on a plane.
Took my family there on a visit last summer and we all had a great time. The kids loved the Rain Forest Cafe, and they each did a Build-a-bear. Spent a few hours walking around Opryland hotel, only got lost twice. Did a little dancing at the Wildhorse, they were doing dance lessons so we all learned a little line dancing. Yep, Nashville is a great place.
Fun! We went to Rainforest for supper Friday night. My little girl was terrified. She thought the elephants were gonna get her! haha
The Opryland hotel is gorgeous. My momma and daddy used to take me there every Christmas to see the lights. And yes, its very easy to get lost in there! I love the Wildhorse too. And they have the best food! You just never have enough time to do everything!
Nashville is great, I love going down town (hangin' out at Tootsie's), and Opry Mills is great for shopping too. We have a plant there and I get there a few times a year.
I LOVE Tootsies! That place is so much fun!! You cant beat Downtown Nashville! Oh my, Opry Mills... thats where we spent the majority of our trip... and money. We live about an hour and a half away.. so we go up there quite a bit. We always have a blast!
