Pretty much any music, except the really sappy country. Hard rock, some rap, swing, jazz, big band. I also sing "Barbershop" style a'capella music with a quatet. It is amazing what the human voice can do.

Any Stephan Hunter book. "Making decoys the centuries old way." by Greyson Chesser. "Whistling Wings and Wooden Blocks" by Ron Koch. "Stories of the Old Duck Hunters & Other Drivel" by Gorden MacQuarrie. "Rogue Warrior" series by Richard Marcinko.

Anything about duck hunting and decoy making.

Hunting shows, Bones, CSI, Deadliest Catch, Discovery Cannel, History Cannel, "Lock and Load, with R. Lee Ermey" Anything I can learn from.

Our Armed Forces. My mother and father were both in the Air Force. My oldest son is in the Navy. Serving your country for the benefit of others is the highest form of heroism!

Rooterduck Getting ready for Thanksgiving. Oldest son (in Navy) and daughter-in-law are coming in from Virginia. Get to meeet my Grand-Daughter for the first time, and see my two-year old Grandson again. Gotta clean up the house, but it will be worth it to see them

Howdy Y'all... I'm an old duck hunting nut. Married to my beautiful bride Susan, for 25 years. We have 3 boys, Joey, 22, Aaron,19, and Nolan,9. We have 2 Grandchildren, Ryan,2, and Cheyenne,1.
I am obsessed with waterfowling. I carve decoys during the off season. I read just about everthing I can about "fowlers of old". During season, if I'm not at work, I'm hunting, or planning on going hunting.

Rooterduck, Thanks for stopping by. My decoys are all foamers. Started making them last winter after the duck hunting season was over. I was bumming after the season and wanted to extend my duck hunting season, so I started making foamers. I made about a dozen mallard floaters and half a dozen full body mallards. I then made two canada floaters for my buddy. Good Luck with your season.

Howdy Y'all... Thanks for the add. Gotta love tthose surface drive motors. My buddy hs an 18' go-devil boat w/ 35hp surface drive. That's the 4x4 of duck boats. Good luck and good hunting to you and your boys.

Your right about the surface drives. Don't need much water for them to go and they make salad out of the grass
