Know what you mean...Hate sitting in a stand and not seeing any thing. I have had a pretty good week my self. Will be hitting the work force tomorrow. Will work till Thursday then off till Tuesday. Then back to hunting woods. Miss an other deer tonight. But was a clean miss. He even came back but never got an other shot, but that's the way it goes. That's why they call it deer hunting, not deer killing LOL...Hugzs Susan

Hey Girl,

Just seen you where online. Wanted to say hey & hope you had a great weekend.

Mine was pretty good. Seen alot of deer, 1 nice 160 class. Seen him twice but just out of bow range. Makes staying in the stand alot more exciting.

I have posted the recipe. It was really good. If you don't find it on the bulletin, let me know and I will get it to you. Give it time, it's not called deer killing, its called deer hunting. I have found when I get to hyped it only gets worse. The day I got my buck...I was playing Texas hold-em on my blackberry...Lmao and if that's not enough encouragement,,,well rut will be in soon...LOL...Hugzs Susan

Boy do backstraps sound good. Would like to try your recipe. I thought I would have some by now, But have only had shots at yearlings & small bucks. I thought for sure I would have had a doe by now. But just love being in the woods. My time will come & I will get my freezer restocked. Good Luck to you when you get a chance to get in the woods

Thanks for the add. Good Luck in all of your outdoor adventures.

Thank you no problem on the add i'm heading out this evening to hunt if the rain let's up here!!

This time of year don't let the rain stop you. Rut activity is kicking into full swing in Ohio. Hunt any time of the daylight hours that you can regardless of weather

yes i know i have notice some rut activey lately but not full swing

Another week & it will be getting very active.

yep it should be i am hoping

It will be. Are there many crops still in the fields in your area?

no not alot around here left

There is a lot of corn left in the fields up here(Dayton area). It may kill the rut for us
Yea it most certainly could do that i been to a few times aint been there in a few years now
