I'm a regular guy enjoying God's creation! Family, church, work and way too many hobbies keeps me from having much down time. My passion for hunting has turned into a bit more because of a tremendous blessing called the Jerman Buck which is the World Record Crossbow Typical Whitetail. The most exciting part of that for me has been using the deer to open ministry doors and being able to share the deer and the Gospel at the same time. My "day job" is as a Service Delivery Executive (i.e. Technical Account Manager) for Reed Elsevier Technology Services and I also have a few rental properties to also help fund the needs and the some of the "wants".
Yeah, that sounds about right, he looks bigger/older and unique. We used to have a strain of 6 point bucks down on the farm I hunt in Brown County that would get bigger & older but stay at 6 point racks. I got one in the 90's with my bow that had a knurled up strange 6 point rack, dressed at over 200 lbs and it was obvious he was an older buck.

Wow, that's an interesting rack on your wife's buck! Big, massive & high but just a 6 point. How old do you think he was?
I'm having the folks at deerage.com have a look. I'm guessing 4 1/2 or 5 1/2.
That's awesome Brad! I wish my wife would hunt with me! I'll check your page to see if you loaded pictures. I settled for a smaller 8 point this year on opening day of bow season! I normally go by an 8 points or better rule to let them grow up and I hadn't shot an antlered buck since 2003, passing on a lot of smaller bucks, so when an 8 point came right into me on my 1st trip to the stand, I felt like it was a gift that I shouldn't pass on! He didn't go 60 yards & down and ran right down a tractor path to where I could drive my truck right to him. It was all great stuff for an old guy! LOL!!!
