I have been married 19 yrs. I have two great kids, 18yr old daughter,16yr old son who does everything with me.When bow season is over , its crappie time,then turkey,then flathead,then squirrel,and back to bowhunting.Yea i love the outdoors u might say.I know my wife gets a little
tired of it at times.But she supports me though.I also help guide for THUNDERVALLEYOUTFITTERS in Iowa,and i love going to the midwest.Its truly Gods country and the land of GIANTS.I look foward to going up every year.
Hey brother,had a blast in Iowa.Weather sucked,but I did see 32 bucks.One WELL over 200.I got tired about day 8 and shot a 132'' 8 pt.Not the biggest,but I was worn out. and starting to get a little homesick.Ill give yu a call this weekend and give ya some more details. I'm glad you had a good time. Things have been slow for all my buddies. I however shot one thats around 145"es on the 1st. Saw one over 200"s, I don't think I've seen one like that definately must be in a good area. Nice job and take care. Ben

I took my good buddy out to one of my spots on Saturday night and I called in a nice one for him 13 pts and scored 165"es it was a good night!!!

supposed to be a slight drop by the weekend I've seen some wether reports saying around 37 for lows up to the 45-50's for highs regardless I think the weather is going to cooperate and you'll be up at a good time. Just need to be at the right place at the right time. I'm seeing a lot of 125- 135" deer checking the does out so it won't be long for the big boys to be showing their faces. It's going well :-) The weather is wierd up here... Snowing right now , but next week its suppose to be nearly 60 degs ;-)... Wish I was in your spot at the moment...cant wait to hunt....
