How was the trip to Illinois? Bag a big one?

No shooters within bow range. Saw some large 10 & 12 point 150-180" racks. Plenty on does and young bucks.

Had a great time. Rained four out of the eight days. The weather is not allowing the farmers to cut corn. The deer are using it for cover. This means the deer don't have to use the timerline i'm posted in..lol

Sorry to hear you didnt get a big one. At least you saw some monsters though. You got back to Mass just in time, i was in the woods this weekend and it looks like the rut should start soon, i saw a lot of scrapes and rubs. My dad got a 4 pointer last week too. Good luck with the MA season.

I don't know bout pride but it is between a passion and obsession that is for sure. I love turkey hunting nothing more exciting to me than hearing that early morning gobble.

Caught 15 that day..Each one of us had a keeper. Fished off the coast of Groton Ct... near the "race"

Oh nice, I havn't never fished off Connecticut before, I've pretty much only been out of Salisbury ma, the Cape Cod canal and up in Maine.

Where did you catch those Stripers out of? I just went to the Cape Cod Canal this weekend with my dad and we caught quite a few. My dad caught a 36 and i caught around a 30.
