I really think music is part of your being so I can't say that I like any one genre. I can listen to a country song and feel a connection and the next song to be "California" with Dr. Dre and I feel just as good. Only music can take you back to different places and times throughout your life.

Wakeboarding, Cooking, Wine, Biking, Camping, Hunting, Fishing,

I have to admit I luv Tivo, real tree outdoors, spirit of the wild, the crush, drury outdoors and primos just to name a few. Californication, Weeds,
Sons of Anarchy etc.

My entire family without them I would not be who I am today.

PaulDavis1970 Welcome to PaulDavis1970's profile

Fun loving father of three. I love hunting and fishing, obviously or I wouldn't be on this site, and just about anything outdoors. I spent most of my youth in the hills of northern arkansas. Hunting and fishing on the white river. I know live in Northern California and continue my passion for the outdoors. Passing it on to my kids and anyone else who will listen.

Hello PaulDavis1970 , seen you came by our room so thought I would say hello and thanks for stopping by... I am in the middle of redoing my room over to Fishing and Duck hunting... So I use to run my dogs all over Folsom when I was younger LOL now it's so big you can't do anything out that way any more they even took out our old shooting range to put in houses and all ..... We take care and come by any time....

The San Juans are beautiful. They are my view from my front porch. Snow capped most of the year, they make for a nice view. I was hunting a couple of hours away from home. We got the weather Tuesday night and the huge drop in temp resulted in lots of fog and very poor visibility. Definitely made for better hunting the next few days. Unfortunately Wed morning was the last day we could hunt. Had to be home for parent teacher conferences that night. Darn kids!!LOL

I think the only thing that save us is a small front moved in on tuesday and it rained alot. We were in the san juan national forest area and I couldn't believe how dry it was all the natural ponds were empty. If I am correct doesn't second season start a little later in October next year. If so maybe we can get some weather.

How was you 2nd season hunt this year. We did fairly well even though it was very dry and warm. I ended up with a nice 4X4 buck and filled my cow elk tag. It is worth the 18 hour drive to colorado every year.

Sounds like you had a good trip and filled the freezer! My son and I didn't fair too well. It was so hot and we were hunting at 6500-8000 feet, public land. We saw one very small 4 point bull on public, I guess we should have shot it! All the other elk we saw were on private. But we sure had a good time!

Ed,

Thanks for saying hello. My son and I hunted C zone this weekend up out of mineral around turner mountain but same thing we saw one doe opening morning and not a thing afterward. I think next year I am going to try to get the late season draw for that area. It is just to hot this time of year. We are going to give it a shot again this weekend in a D zone closer to us.

Thanks for the guestbook comment I love Colorado. I am actually headed there for the 2nd rifle season. I go every year. We hunt out of Cortez. I got lucky and got a cow tag this year so it should be fun.
