I am 29 years old and run my own landscape/lawn maintenance business in the Mt Pocono, PA area. My wife and I are in our 6th year of business and things are going great. Aside from the business my wife and I are involved heavily in our church and music.
With what time I get after being involved in those two areas, I spend it in the outdoors and writing country music. My music is mostly about experiences in hunting and fishing. However, I have ventured off the beaten path recently to produce a country single for those serving in the US MILITARY!!
The 2008 season has come and almost gone here in PA with only a muzzleloader and late bow season remaining(at least for deer)!! My wife and I did fairly well this year hunting in both PA and NC. Between my dad, my wife and myself we connected on 8 deer in 3 days in NC. IN PA, my wife did not get to do much hunting so I had to do the connecting with the does!! I have held off on the bucks because of a monster in the area, but he has alluded me so far.
Goose season is still open and I will be doing a little of that as well!!
My wife is from Cody, Wyoming, and we both love the west. It is my dream to someday have a camp out west for kids to hunt and fish. For a variety of reasons, young people today are losing interest in the outdoors. One of those reasons (and I believe one of the biggest) is that parents are not taking the time to show them about the outdoors. We need to gain them back.
