MMA Legend Matt Hughes Hunts with NATV at the Buck and Boar
Northwoods Adventures TV and the North Country Brotherhood are honored to host 9 time UFC Champ and living legend Matt Hughes this fall on his quest to knock down a velvet buck.

South Carolina has the first open gun season in the country and will be our destination. Troy Ayers and the crew at the Buck and Boar are already busy hanging stands and checking cameras. Troy is the master when it comes to finding early season giants and we are confident NATV will roll some great tape this August.

We would love to share the camp and potentially get some of our viewers on tape on this hunt. We have room for 4-5 other hunters on this trip. The most important thing we can do as sportsman is give back to that which has given us so much. We are lucky that the show affords us the opportunity to meet, and hunt with, youth and and other special people. We hunt turkeys, bear, moose, and chase big bucks. We hunt where and what our viewers want to see. We are a reflection of the regular people that watch our show. Like you, we scout, put our time in, and walk out of the woods empty handed more times than not.

Nate's Bio:
I reside in the heart of southern Maine in the small town of Shapleigh with my wife Lisa and our 8 year old son Tyler. By day I make my living as a Quality supervisor at a Georgia Pacific facility in Portsmouth NH. Being a Maine guide is a family old tradition with the enjoyment of taking sportsmen and sportswomen to the field or on the water to help make their dream outdoor experiences come true. Honesty, integrity and loyalty are core values I hold dear to me and will pass on to my son . No matter where I have hunted one of my greatest joys is getting into a remote area where there is little to no hunting pressure and observe game act naturally in their environment. Whether I am on the Track on a snowy Maine day or in a tree stand sitting all day with my bow outwitting game on their own terms pays off extraordinary.

Chris's Bio
I reside in the Oxford hills region of western Maine. I live in the town of Norway with my wife Miranda, daughter Morgan and our eight-year-old son Dylan. By day, I make my living as a Regional Manager for Outtech's Outdoor division. We are the largest marketing company in the outdoor industry. My job allows me to make a living doing what I am passionate about. . In my spare time, I guide hunters and fisherman in the woods and waters of Maine with my partner Nate Fenderson. For my own leisure, I enjoy traveling across the country hunting in new areas. About the third week of November, I can usually be found in some tree bowhunting the Mid-west. A day or two after Christmas, I am probably packing my bags and getting ready to for the southern rut.
