I am a little over 30 haha and am very happily married. We have one child who is in Kindergarten this year. Man they grow up way too fast. I grew up in a small town but live in an even smaller town now. We bought a new house almost a year ago that is closer to our dream. One night we saw mule deer, a pheasant and bobwhite quail all out our front window. We are seeing pheasant and quail on a regular basis. WHAT A DREAM!!! They always say you might be a Redneck if you shoot a deer from your front porch....if those mulies get close enough I will be a bigger redneck than I already am!!! LOL I love to bowhunt and yes I hunt like a girl - big and hard. I got a new Mathews last year and love it. I have already bagged a big gobbler and in December a big hog and can't wait to add some antlers to the list. I have always heard women gripe about their husbands going hunting all the time and I tell them to grab a bow and start shooting and then they will have nothing to gripe about if they go along. I always say "What kind of husband goes hunting and doesn't take his wife?" We are usually the one cooking dinner (no offense to you guys) so who says we can't add to the freezer and mounts on the wall. NOT ME!! There is nothing like cooking dinner and knowing that what you are about to eat you took yourself. I am sure that will gross out some people but they don't live in my world. EAT SLEEP HUNT REPEAT!

Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
