MontanaBowHunter Happy New Year ! It's a Winter Wonderland Out There

Living in beautiful Northwest Montana and loving it! I can do all of my favorite things here: White-water Rafting... Bowhunting and rifle hunting for elk, deer, antelope, and bear... Trout fishing... Hiking... Camping... Shooting... Ice-fishing...

Some day I hope to find a mate who wants to climb tall mountains; Sleep in a tent; Shoot a Eye-Poppin Wall-Hanger Mulie buck from 350 yards, Call in and take a big Bull Elk with her bow; Spend all day catching Cutthroat Trout while floating a white-water river; and cuddle on the sofa watching a chick-flick at the end of a long day... Until then, I'll keep hunting for the both of us.

Hey there! The Florida Keys are starting to sound great right about now. Are you keeping warm enough?

Hey there!

You might look at your profile... The "email me", "add me", etc. don't do anything when you click on them... I clicked to the left and managed to ge the right one. I love the graphics though.

I just saw the TIME on my last comment... WOW!... I was definitley not up that late. It was more like 12:45... Don't know how that happened.

Well damn! It must be my new layout then. I'll have to put the old one back on, even though i'm mad about InBev laying off 1400 anheuser workers in StLouis! I'll just send you one then. I hope your day has been good!

Hey there... Just back from a poker night with the regular friends. We had a great time! (a bit to drink as well).

Thanks for the complimentary note. Always great to hear from you.

Coco Chanel is a thumbs up! Nice to have a friend who supplies you with many different choices... Some of those fragrances are expensive!

Do I dare offer an invite to be my friend on camospace? I have not yet because I don't want to be just another of 270+... I don't let just anyone into my "friends" list (I did at first)... you are different though... You have struck a cord with me. It's a nice exchange we have going... wouldn't want to damage that in any way.

Thanks for being you!

Bruce

Hey there! I'm glad you liked the scent. Yes, some of the perfumes are expensive, but she got them as part of her gratis, so it works out well.
I'm still trying to figure out why it was showing me online here all night, even though I was offline and sleeping. I guess I forgot to logout. How was your poker game? Sounds like it was a good time regardless.
Its entirely up to you if you want to add me or not....I know I was looking for you on my friends....I wanted to put you on the top list, since we seem to be talking on here more, plus I enjoy it!

I love your outlook on life....I'm hoping to eventually get to that point sometime in mine, but its going to take some hard work on my part! Yes, I have a lot of perfumes...some that I cant even pronounce since they are french. My best friend is the one who gave them to me since she is in upper management for a cosmetic company.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy your weekend! I need to finish up my holiday shopping too!

Hey now!

I love hunting Montana. I'm a bowhunter as well. I hunt up there every year with my inlaws. They live in Stevensville (30 minutes south of Missoula). I married my wife up there in Ravalli County. We hunt in the Bitterroot for elk every year. Next year I'll be up there bow hunting for elk. I've been hunting them with a rifle for over 10 years now and never closed the deal yet so I'm changing tactics and just going to bowhunting. I honestly think that will be my best chance. We have wall tents, etc. and I think we may find a way to get a hold of some horses and spike camp it next year. We hunt mulies, WT, and antelope in central Montana in a place I dare not mention on these pages but might share with you at some point in confidence. We also hunt elk in the Gallatins sometimes. We even have a family friend up in Kalispel (sp?) that comes down every season. Of course living in Texas, I have to stick to WT, hogs, turkey, duck, dove, etc. down here. And the deer are much smaller here than up there. Most landowners down here are money hungry so I primarily stick to bowhunting hogs year round. A lot of people could learn from the way Montana FWP has been able to open up public access hunting, or what you can accomplish with a handshake and an ounce of respect. I actually trying to get a transfer up to Montana. We'll see how it goes. I hope you had a memorable '08 season.

Kind regards,

Kevin

Love the new layout... who doesn't like The Captain!

It is currently 15 degrees and overcast here in beautiful Whitefish, Montana.

Thinking about going out to cut another load of firewood this afternoon. Sure I burn wood to save a little money on the heating costs, however the real benefit for me is the chance to spend time in the great outdoors, and the awesome full body workout that comes with it... I love it! There's nothing like the smell of a fresh sawn larch round... Mmmmmm It's not the best smell in the world for sure... That would be a long drawn breath of a dab of White Shoulders (or Treasure) right below the ear on the side of the special woman's neck... Mmmmmmmmmmm... It's been a while...

Okay... I'm back... Lost myself for a moment.

I hope you have a peaceful and harmonious day and weekend.

p.s. Have you seen my 6 winning numbers anywhere? I seem to have misplaced them and I was hoping to figure a couple million extra into your Christmas present this year

Its a lovely 25 here, & sunny in flat, corrupt Illinois
kind of crazy that I was leaving you a comment at the same time....things that make you go "hmmm!" Yes, I keep playing the mega millions & Ill. lotto in hopes to win someday and have my nice little ranch possibly in western Wyoming.
I dont have any white shoulders, but I have coco chanel if that works

Well... Crap!

I wrote you this big long comment with great insight and heart-felt emotion. Told you all about things that are going on with me. I was quite possibly the best comment ever written in the history of camospace! And when I clicked the "Submit Comment" button the system logged me out!!!

What's that all about? Everything happens for a reason... I truly believe that to be true. Perhaps I said too much, or was too long winded (who.. me?). Whatever the case, I guess it was simply not meant to be.

Maybe some day I will have the opportunity to say it all again... perhaps in a more private context.

Have a GREAT day... Life is Good!

I bet it was really nice too! Ty for stopping by & saying hello at least! I hope everything is good with you!

Thanks for looking in on me. Season was fun yet uneventful. Walked/hiked about 300 miles this year and ended up only filling a doe tag... guess I'm just too picky!

Have a good weekend and beyond.

Your welcome, it doesn't hurt to be pickie.LOL I think our rut will be getting kick off around Christmas so I'm still hoping for a nice buck. You have a great weekend too, and stop by anytime!!
