Name is mike johnson and i live in delmar delaware, which is right on the delaware/maryland state line. Do most of my hunting in maryland tho. Have been hunting since i was 7 years old and the love for it just keeps getting stronger. If im not hunting then im usually in the woods finding new area or making a food plot or something to do with hunting. Got my girlfriend into hunting few years ago and this past season she got a 8 point and a 10 point with her bow. So looks like ive got a new hunting partner for awhile, which is fine with me, cause then dont have to hear from her about me hunting all the time.
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
