Primarily country, but I also like classic rock and contemporary Christian music.
BOOKS
Lots of 'em. I'm a voracious reader and I frequently change authors and genre.
INTERESTS
Archery, bowhunting, taking my kids hunting and fishing, reading, politics (yes, really!).
TELEVISION
Not much; love hockey and the occasional football game, but I'm not much of a TV watcher. Entertainment was and remains my worst category in Trivial Pursuit.
HEROES
My Dad; Roberto Clemente; GEN Wayne Downing; Francis Marion; Erwin Rommel; Hannibal Barca; Alexander the Great... that's a rather odd list of characters, isn't it?
Manhunter338 Finished off a good hunt in Illinois and takin' it easy...

Howdy maam! Thanks for the friend request! I just joined and, although I'm reasonably computer literate, I'm new to this social networking stuff. Just returned from a hunt in Illinois and my outfitter suggested that I get on here. Nice to [virtually] meet you!
Well, were glad you could join us...I'm leaving in a few days going to Illinois,,this will be my first hunt up there. I'll be bow hunting,,how did your hunt go there?
My hunt went very well. I was hunting with Timberland Outfitters in Cass County. The heavy pre-rut activity waht just beginning to pick up when I left. I ended up shooting a 140-in. 8-pt. with a couple of stickers (picture is on my profile). He weighed 280 lb. It was a very enjoyable hunt; didn't see as many deer as I had expected, but the sign and the activity really picked up early last week. Next week should be quite good...
WOW, Congrats on your 8 point,, I would be so excited to get a 140-in of anything,,,I've never killed a big deer before so thats exciting,,I hope I have that kind of luck. Glad you made a safe trip and I will let you know how my trip goes.
