Anything Traditional Bowhunting

Is there really anything on TV worth watching these days?

I have several people I would love to meet Chuck Adams, Byron Ferguson, Tred Barta. Howard Hill and Fred Bear if they were alive today.

W.W.F.B.D. What would Fred Bear do?

MT_Bowhunter Sept 4th is coming up on us quick... Bowhunting Season Opener!!!

I am 100% Traditional Bowhunter

I have a great passion for hunting mature whitetails, antelope, elk, moose and black bear. There really is never a dull moment while out in the field, yes it can be quiet at times, but this affords us the opportunity to reflect on what God has given us to behold.

The greatest day I ever spent in the woods, is the one just spent in the woods.

Gen 27:3

Yesterday, my son came over to talk and we had a great talk. I had gotten my bow out and one for him should he want to shoot, and he asked me "Dad, can you demonstrate a snap shot for me?"

So while looking at him, I nocked an arrow and quickly turned and drew without anchoring at my mouth. I have trained for years with an un-orthidoxed snap shooting meathod that works for me. I put the arrow in the kill zone of the 3-D insert from 10 yards. He looked at me with shock because I didn't anchor, or have my hand any where near my face. He asked if I could repeat the same shot again, so I nocked another arrow and to his disbelief he saw that I had my string hand right at my right breast and released as soon as I turned and saw the 3-D insert.

He just dropped his jaw when the arrows almost stacked themselves.

I've heard to many times, you can not shoot accurately shooting instinctive or snap shooting because you have no consistancy.... I say hogwash.

May I ask where about your huntn bear? I was thinking about New Brunswick and maybe Moose....whats your thoughts??
Ok, thats great woo hoo nice and close for you! Any outfitter you could recommend to me for either or both mate?

New Bruswick I hear has good bears and moose, but I have those animals right here in Montana. We have 2 seasons on black bears for both the spring and fall. And since I now only bowhunt, I make the best of my hunting seasons.

Its a dream to someday bowhunt Africa, someday. Today its but a dream, that may one day become a reality for me.

Thanks for the friends request, and ad.

A hunting safari to Africa may be more of a reality than you think . . . the prices are very reasonable when compared to most north american hunts. We would be glad to put a quote together for you and see your dreams come true. Thanks for thinking of us and keep in touch!
