I have an avid love for the outdoors, as I enjoy as much of the great outdoors here in Montana.
We have awesome lakes, rivers and stream fishing as well as plenty of areas to just get off to, without bumping into a million people while your experiencing the everything outdoors here.
If you never have experienced our great outdoors here in Montana, you owe it to yourself to come see Glacier National Park and the other beauties that we have here.

MT_Bowhunter Got two whitetails just 2 hours apart from each other!

Pretty much its all 60% bowhunting for me, but during our general firearms season, I do resort to carrying my rifle.

Okay a little about myself, I grew up on the left coast but escaped with my family to Montana, aaah can you say God's Country? Some of you have probably been to my neck of the woods, where we are located here in the Flathead Valley.

Of all the animals here, I love to chase the whitetailed deer the best, along with the mule deer, elk, black bear and antelope. I also have a very strong faith in God and a very positive outlook on life. With this attitude, I'm always ahead of the game.

One of my favorite places to be, is in the woods no matter if in deep thought, or bowhunting. One of my favorite places to go is Glacier National Park that is only about 25 miles from me.

One of the best partners that I have ever had hunting is my friend Mike, we just click and have a great hunting relationship. He loves the back roads and trails as much as I do. This year we have spent many hours hunting together, and generally have a great time that we will be able to look back and tell many stories about.

Barnes TSX Bullets Are Simply The Best Bullets

Team BLOODTRAILS REPORT

2 Whitetails down on one trip

My son in law and I, headed over to the property the his grandmother owns. We got in and set up with just the hint of day break. While we are up on this ridge over looking an area that we saw a buck during bowhunting season, I spot movement. I got myself in a great outlook, and bipod was holding everything steady. I put the scope and low and behold a nice shooter buck with carmal color antlers, is not paying attention. I have the crosshairs of the Nikon ProStaff w/BDC retical right in the ol windbags there.

I let the Barnes TSX 140-gr go, and the buck stood there like it hadn't even been hit, then took a couple of steps and layed down. In the picture you might make out the white hair in the grass. When we walked up to tag and recover my buck, we happen to notice he had grass still in his mouth.

Well after this I still had a B tag for getting me a doe. My son in law and I decided to move from where we were. As we relocated, I happen to notice a nice little rise that over the top might yeild something.

As we approached the top, and could just make out a couple of does. The grass was long enough that I got real low, and crept to the edge where I had a good clear shot. I again made my selection of the 2 does, and placed my Nikon ProStaff cross hairs in the heart lung area. Now this doe was not sticking around not liking what it just felt. But I tell you that the Barnes TSX 140-gr bullet created a bloodtrail a blind man could follow.
