I am 16 years old and hail from good ol' Winona Minnesota. I am a die hard hunter. I love to hunt waterfowl, it is my main passion, but what ever else I can get my hands on, I'll shoot. I work at Fleet Farm in the Sporting Goods department, YAY!! me.
Haven't been getting out really. Been working and school a lot. But hey summer is approaching, but that's when landscaping starts for the BioLogic food plot. I'm sure I'll be getting out there to catch a few here and there. How has everything been going by you?

the fishing here sucks, everything winter killed. headin up to northernmost minnesota to plant my food plots next week. do you plant a fall plot?
i am in it for both ducks and geese. main two calls are by foiles. the straight meat honker which i am still trying to master, and for ducks its the timber rattler
Turkey season is among us in Maryland. Remember to stay quiet, don't move and cover up.
Spring tip: Make the lead hen fight you in your calls and she will come after you. The gobbler will chase the lead hen and that is how you get them henned up gobblers to come out and play :)
Hard Core Waterfowlers, that's what I'm lookin' for. It's hard to beat waterfowl Hunting, I don't know how anyone can do anything else!
Thanks for the add, from what I understand hunting in Nebraska isn't that bad!

Yah the Fowling is real good the farther West you can go in the state. I live on the Eastern side so when it comes to Duck season, I need to make sure the (Duck Truck) is ready to go. The spot I hit a lot is a good 3 hour drive for me. And I ussualy hit it up every weekend. We head out at 2a.m. on Friday and dont make it back untill Sunday night. The wife is glad when season is over because she will have on hell of a honey do list ready for me. But thats ok, she put up with my crap during season, so its a fair trade. As for being Hard Core. Yah I would like to think I am up there on that list!! I will drive through, walk through, or pull the boat through what ever is in the way to get to a duck!!
Hey bud, I see you are on. Wanna hit the chat room? I'm bored, like real bored..haha

sorry i missed ya, man. went fishing tonight on open water for the first time this year,on the lower vermillion. no luck, but it was nice fishin when i coulc just pick up my stuff and head for the truck and not worry about packin up the fish house and auger and camera and all that crap with frozen hands. you gotta get out of the house. go shed hunting, or fishin, or get a bow and start hitting the local shops and archery 3-d tournaments. those are the things that get me by in between duck seasons. also, i have turkey opener coming up in 3 weeks. sittin on the computer is fine, but ya gotta get out and get active so there is more stories to share. while waterfowling is and always will be my premiere activity, i sure can almost enjoy the offseason by gettin out and doin stuff. go knock on doors, askin for permission to a new duck swamp. build some nesting boxes and platforms. train your dog and join a kennel club. now get out there and make some memories, and report back on em. have a good one, man.
is that a golden retriver you have there? i have one, named Duke. he is my duck and pheasent dog. im still trainin him. he does alright. they sure are happy and laid back, arent they? i think that they are the stoner breed of dog.
Lol- no I haven't figured out the whole top friends think yet. Still learning the site. Every time I add someone they go to the top of the list. I'll get it fixed sometime soon.
Yup- the weather has been really weird for this time of the year. I got snowed in, so no classes and no work. I would be happy about it, but I haven't worked or had classes since Thursday and I'm getting a little cabin feverish here...just texted a hunting buddy of mine who also didn't go to work. He's out snow goose hunting and he didn't take me with.
Enjoy the time off and don't forget to keep an eye on us here, we are planning something big over the weekend :)
Thanks.
