Bronson, going to hunt with Micah Hightower and shoot some video for Adrenaline Adventures Tv. Do you know anything about this area, it is in east Texas. This is my first trip to Texas.
That's a few miles from Sam Rayburn Lake. Maybe 40 miles north of Jasper. One of my leases is about 45 miles from there. A few counties over a buck in the 170 class range was hit by a county truck just prior to season. Most of east Texas is now under a 13" rule. Inside spread has to be 13" or wider. Of course spikes are still legal. Let me know if you need more info.

One more thing. Not for cerrtain if there is anything to it as I don't want to test the "lore". No matter what type of scent blocking gear, spray, wash or whatever you use, bring rubber boots. lol Just about any old timer in East texas will swear by them.

planning to go back in a couple days, front coming thru maybe it will help. Will keep you posted
