JTrisler is overworked and ready for the weekend

Born and raised in Central Louisiana and will probably never leave! Been working for the Department of Justice the last 7 years.Married with two kids (girls, 12 and 3). Live and breathe to chase a sassy whitetail deer. I love bowhunting but dont mind picking up a rifle and reaching out and touching one.

I started a Skull mounting business this past year called JT's SkullWorks and it has kept me busy this winter and into the Spring.

I got the seeds in the mail today. Thanks and tell Jon that I really appreciate it. I will let you know how it goes... or should I say "how it grows".

Cool! Sorry it took so long. I hope they do well for you.

....now...if the little pumpkin gets too hot you need to take an umbrella and sit out there with it to give it shade.

I think that is a new job for me. Can I drink beer?
Sure. But you should know that the "crazy drunk shading the huge pumpkin with a Dora umbrella" is going to make the papers. LOL

My son is on here as well (tguyett). He is in Iraq right now, but he is based at Ft. Folk. Maybe you could add him to your list as well. He has fished some in LA but hasn't had a chance to hunt there yet.

They still have a few whitetails but they were all hiding underneath the walkway yesterday in the shade.

Check out the pics on my page and you can see some of my skull mounts from this year.[/quote]

Hey bud! I think it might be time you slowed down a bit. Give me an update on things going around in Jonesville for you. Softball still in high gear?

Yeah, we have games on Monday and then we get a break since there will be finals at school and graduation. We need it. We spent most of the day lounging around the house and then took Alaina to the zoo in Alexandria today. It has been a nice quiet evening at home without the phone ringing off the hook.

I got another buck to skull mount and will skin him out tomorrow. Ol boy had him in the freezer since December. I'll take some extra cash! Take care. JT

Do they still have the Whitetail pen at the Alexadria Zoo? And next time I get a buck I want skull mounted I may have to send you some business. Got any pics of your work?

We have been cutting limbs back on the gravel road leading to our camp today. It got hot quick! But the beer was cold, LOL!

My wife and I just got back from Prom! Yep, you read it right. We helped chaparon(sp?). It was one of those "do as I say, not as I do" kind of things.

I'm not gonna laugh at you chaparoning, (sp?) we do the same at every dance our daughter attends. Good to hear from you.

LMAO @ the BigMan bringing back those Illy pics. Come to think of it, you were the first person I met when I rolled into camp. You were in "rare" form, LOL! I am about ready for a good game of Farkle!

It had been about 2 years since I had been like that.... It was a blast!!! I didnt have any beer for the rest of the week though... drank it all that night.
