I like to hunt just about anything I can. Whitetail hunting is my favorite, followed closely by waterfowling.

Golf and fishing are also hobbies that take most of my money.

I'm a member and Prostaffer for Huntingbrotherhood.com...working to become the most fun forum on the internet.

I heard all the big bucks are in Missouri and Kansas now. Nothing left in Illinois but button bucks.

there's probably not many left in iowa after the last 2 weeks of shotgun season. friggen orange army up here kills everything in sight.

One of the Illinois guys on our website posted pics and a story today about a buck his cousin killed that had 8 bullet holes in it. I guess I'm a member of the orange army but at least I can shoot, I think I should be worried about friendly fire.

8 holes? that's just crazy! that's one tuff buck!
my sister is a taxidermist here in town and she has regulars that bring them deer since they don't hunt anymore. she called me tonight to see if i wanted any meat.....heck yeah i said!
i guess we have 6-7 deer to process tomorrow
guess i can't complain. it's free meat and i didn't have to pay for tags or freeze my butt off hunting them.

How did your season go? Did you do any good in Illinois, you have a lease up here don't you?

I haven't made it up yet, probably wait until the last week of season and hope the Wabash is out of the banks.

The weather has stunk all year up here. The wind has been blowing 20-40 mph every day it seems like. Cold, windy, standing corn and a lot less deer killed than normal.

Yea , I knew after hunting 3 weeks up there last year that this year was going to be a rebuilding season for the deerherd of ILL. I wished I could get my butt into Iowa for a few weeks, they are knocking down some GIANTS up there right now.

I'm also gonna make a few stops in Northern KY and SW Indiana to check out some public land on my way up there.

Aren't you the same nonresident on AT that I keep trying to kick out of Illinois?

You should stop over at huntingbrotherhood.com sometime, there are a bunch of us from AT that hang out there. It's a pretty new forum, we just kind of goof off a lot and talk a little hunting.

LOL...yea probably, there is a lot of you guys trying to kick me out. Its hard to keep up with all of you.
