Nope the last time i went was thursday.It rained most of the weekend.Me and my dad are going in the morning were thinking about going closer to the lake since that's where the turkeys are traveling.Plus why the jake the other day walked away was b/c the decoys was hitting the bryers.This time if i only see a jake in the area i'm going to pull the trigger and it's b/c the season is over with may 6 if i see 2 i can either shoot both and use my dads tag on the 2nd one or let him shoot one with his bow.
Yeah i would of shot the jake i seen yesturday but i didn't i'm waiting on a tom to show up again.Yeah i hear you the first couple of days of turkey season we didn't hear anything until the past 2 days sometimes the weather has to do with it just like yesturday it was a little windy that's why the jake never gobbled back and kept coming towards the decoy.I do know that if it's cloudy the deer and turkeys will move more.I hear you on the deer tracks we seen some really nice ones each time we go turkey hunting.The other day we seen 10 deer within a couple hours.

Yeah i think i might be able to use steel shot for my shotgun i will know if i can or not when i go and see the gun smith tomorrow.On my shotgun it's not threaded on the end of the barrel where you can put a turkey choke.

It's a Remington 20 Gauge Singleshot Shotgun Model SPR100
I couldn't find any info on the website and the manual doesn't say anything if you can use steel shells or not.Since i never shot my shotgun before i just don't want to use a shell that will split my barrel.

i missed this weekends opener for the kids i got sick and banged my knee up pretty bad its all black and blue i thought it was broke for a lil bit but it was just hurting that bad, i'm fixin to get off here for a while WrestleMania 25 is fixin to be on and i am goin to be watching it.
