I love all music, but growing up in the 80's makes me a fanatic of that music. . .I can still feel my youth when Van Halen's You Got Me starts playing! Listened to a ton of OLD Country and Western growing up. . .just like in the move "The Blue Brothers" we had both types of music - Country and Western!

Nineteen Minutes, The Tenth Circle, any John Grisham book, of course God, Guns, and Rock and Roll - Uncle Ted. Nebraskaland Mag, Ducks Unlimited mag, Pheasants Forever mag, Bugle mag, Bowhunter, Field and Stream, 4 Wheel and Off Road. . .

I love to archery hunt, waterfowl hunt and upland game hunt. I do a little rifle hunting now that I have a son who passed Hunter Safety and who wants to rifle hunt. I prefer the company of my good (that is my opinion) dogs (Yellow Labs) to any well dressed hunter with an expensive O/U who can't shoot, only hunts to drink beer afterward and and doesn't care to walk 10 miles in his new boots!

I think that Tiffany Lakosky is the only reason I watch TV anymore. . . no offense Lee. I am a fanatic of "LOST" and that is my real only mainsteam (non hunting) show I take the time to see.

My Wife, a slave to the family - John Wayne, king of the Westerns - Brook Berringer, UNL Quarterback (He grew up in Western Kansas even he was a backup University of Nebraska Quarterback- Look him up on the internet an you will understand, also a great hunter!)

HunterShawn CHECK OUT MY 2009 ARCHERY BUCK!! No luck with the rifle this morning.

My name is Shawn, I grew up in a very small town in central Nebraska and graduated in a class of 11, yes 11 people total, 4 girls and 7 boys in my graduating class. I went to UNL where I met and married my college sweetheart, while we were both still in college. I have lived all over Nebraska: Lincoln, Hastings, Omaha, O'Neill and now south of Lincoln again. My wife and I have 4 "perfect(?)" kids who range from 13 - 3. My wife is the best parent/spouse I ever met. She is my best friend in the world.

I work at Farm Credit Services of America, but worked for a family owned bank for 15 years before switching. The only job I have had since college, has been in the banking field. I grew up on a diversified farm in "super small town" Nebraska. In my spare time I like to work for area farmers and love RED machinery (Case-IH) but I will gladly run anything, John Deere included!

PS: I Bleed HUSKER Red & am an Alum - Go Huskers!

We are having a great weekend, Huskers on TV, Youth Pheasant Hunt and I am archery and duck hunting. Had to start the day off with a flag football game for the 7 year old, now we are off to put up a stand before kickoff and then we will take off for an afternoon kid hunt! I love this weekend! Hope yours is as good, OR BETTER!!
I did have a good weekend. I went to KC to watch the Chiefs get their butts kicked. LOL The first half was gorgeous weather...by the second half the storm clouds rolled in and we were drenched. Cant complain though. Had an awesome time!
