Hay hows it going down there in TX? I am in NH and the hunting season is over for deer and bear. Time to get out the ice fishiing gear. I going to be in fort worth next month for work . I cant wait. Have a great Holiday!!
Just had to go back out and take some more flower pictures this afternoon because I can not believe it is October 31 and we still have flowers blooming!
I love huntin' those big lizards. Congrats on yours!
Thanks! Congrats on an awesome crocodile! That must have been a rush!
Yes it is, but this one is small compared to the huge giants we come across. Next time I hope to get one much larger.
Good luck! I would love to bowhunt a croc in South Africa! Just don't think I'll ever be able to pull that much weight.
Actually, the pull weight on my rifle is set at just under 3 pounds We use rifles as you wouldn't get that close to a Nile Croc and if you did another one would probably attack you while your attention was focused on your target. Seriously, it's a challenge to find a big one and then set up or stalk him. One shot in the right place and he's going no where.
Thanks, Curtis! It was my first kill with my Bob Lee Classic Elite recurve. It is almost too pretty to hunt with. I kinda felt bad taking it out in the mud and murky water...but that feeling only lasted about a couple seconds.
Good luck to you this season!
So you gonna get any sleep Friday night? lol I just got over a mini-flu I guess so I am pumped about getting in the stand. Also, I need to renew my LSBA subscription, I let it lapse a few months back. Why do y'all not have a booth on the 10th at the Take me Outdoors Houston event in front of George Brown?
